For almost 8 years I have rode a skateboard, and for half the time I have been riding for the maker the universe! A few years ago I discovered companies that were dedicated to promoting the love of Jesus to the people in the skateboarding industry. It's so rad to see that in such a dark industry, light and truth can be shined for everyone to see.
I've been watching a ton of tour videos from these companies. They jump in an RV, and cruise around the nation riding a skateboard for the name of Jesus. Every park they stop at, they share His love and are able to introduce people to true love. Talk about encouraging! I love Jesus, and I love skateboarding, and it has always been a dream of mine to do so.
What's cool is God knows what my heart desires, and if I continue to desire Him first, and love Him more, He will put opportunities in my life to do so. He continues to amaze me in my life in all aspects. It's rad to know that I don't need to worry about my future, because God has complete control over it. Let me tell you, that having the foundation of Jesus to fall on is a blessing in itself.
That doesn't mean I have my weak points, but Christ shows best through our hardships, because even in trials, glory be to Him. This goes back to knowing He has full control over my present life and my future.
If you don't know Him, I encourage you to seek Him. Don't seek out Christianity as the religion, but as the relationship with Jesus. It's totally personal, individual relationship between you and Him! Through your relationship, is when He will begin to open and close doors in your life, protect your heart from the world, and provide with you a foundation.
